it's like those old shoes...
they've been with you forever...
you used to wear them all the time
worn in and comfortable...
and then you discover they no longer fit
you grew out of them
they hurt when you wear them
but you can't throw them away, because they were your favorite.
so you keep them around
and every so often, you wear them again
but they still don't feel right
not like they used to
and they just sit there
they take up space
non-functional...
a keepsake...
baggage...
