Last week...

Monday:
It's an uneventful day, but on my way home from work, my car's low water light starts to flash at me. This happens from time to time due to the fact that my car's computer and fan do not talk and so my car tends to overheat, yada, yada, yada...

Tuesday:
Before I start off too work, I put more oil and water in the karmakar, but the flashing light is still on. I get to work and discover my car is not holding water at all and which tells me my water pump is no longer doing what it's suppose to do. I quickly drive my car home and park it.

*side note: I had been thinking about taking Caltrain to work and riding my bike back home.

Luckily a friend of mine and I had planned a dry run on Caltrain this day, thank goddess, because this helped my preparation for Wednesday.

Wednesday:
On Tuesday, we had noticed my back tire was wobbly, but I rode it to Caltrain anyway. I missed the 7:20 train and took the 7:55 one instead. When I arrived at Lawerence expressway I discovered that my bike was no longer in working condition, the ballbearing on my back tire decided to escape and I had to walk my bike about 2 miles to get to work. Thankfully, my co-worker was able to give me a ride to Caltrain after work.

Thursday:
I rode my other bike to Caltrain, caught the 7:20 train and rode to work in about 15 minutes. On my way home, my gears were stuck in low, and I could only go so fast, I felt like a hamster. Other than that, it was a nice 1 3/4 hour ride home and I'm looking forward to doing it again. I'm sure once I fix my bike and get used to the workout my riding time will lessen considerably.

Friday:
I called in sick. I slept in, stayed home and ate chips all day. My only outing that afternoon was going outside to have my car towed to get fixed. Later I went to see the play at the rep where I work and then went to a costume party. I had fun, it was a good way to end an eventful week.

Saturday:
After my friend and I woke, with a hangover, we ate breakfast at IHOP.
