Recollections...

As I was putting around my apartment this afternoon one of my neighbors started plucking at his electric guitar and it reminded me of this years 4th of July.

From my back porch you can see downtown San Jose's firework show perfectly. This year I invited a couple of friends over for dinner and fireworks. About a minute or two into the show my neighbor started playing Jimi Hendrix's rendition of the star spangled banner. It was very fitting and a nice surprise.

Speaking of music... I have rediscovered Bjork... and I find it's best when played very loud. I was never very fond of her before and now I can't get enough. Her music has a healing effect on me.
